Owning a computer is a lot like owning an automobile; with enough time/mileage on it you are eventually going to need some work done. It could be as simple as a "DIY" oil change or as complicated as transmission work. Like autos, I have owned and operated many different computers, all of which have required varying degrees of service. One particular computer was so infected with viruses that I could not even turn it on or off without actually unplugging it. In other words an absolutely useless device. Time for Grandpa Joe. Like a highly trained auto tech, Joe was able to get into the "guts" of the computer, remove all the viruses and useless programs and return this computer to its full operating capabilities. I'm writing this testimonial on the very same computer and it has been in service without a hitch for the past four years now.

Situation
I recently purchased a laptop at a local computer/electronic store for school use at home. I frequently download various teaching resources for lesson planning. I am also uploading videos created by students or myself for my classroom.

My laptop was starting to run extremely slow, and my additional warranty had since run out. I was certain I could remedy the situation with my computer savvy. I proceeded to “clean house” the best I knew how on my machine, read website information, and determined that I probably had a virus, among other things, causing my computer to run slower than a turtle’s pace. Having computers since the late 1980’s, I had become a ‘regular’ with a certain Geek Squad. This time, I wasn’t really interested in relinquishing my computer for a few weeks with no guarantees and huge costs—how inconvenient! So, I made a phone call to Joe Fisher, or better known as ‘Dr. Joe’ to me. I had heard his name through the grapevine, so I thought, what did I have to lose?

With his diagnostic software and knowledge, he was able to detect precisely what the problem was and told me he hoped to have me up and running within a couple hours. He also set me up with some additional free spyware software as well as backup systems for my plethora of school files and documents. The best thing Dr. Joe has done is saved me the hassle and stress of having to take my computer in for another operation with the Squad doctors.

Solution
The problem THANKFULLY has not returned and Dr. Joe has always been a man of his word. If anything is ever NOT to my satisfaction, he will make it right. We have used him for all our computer needs the past few years we’ve known him and hope to for all the future!

Benefits
I cannot say enough about the services he provides. He is unassuming and humble, but with a huge knowledge base! Computer issues have always provided great stress to my family and me in the past because we are so dependent on technology these days, my children with college and me with my career. Thank God he is at my fingertips literally. With any computing needs I may have, I just e-mail him and he’s right back with me in a flash.
